Food Allergy

If you note any food allergy reaction whenever you or your love ones ate certain food ... from rashes, cough to asthma and anaphylactic reaction ... confirm it with an allergy test ... besides taking food allergen off the recipe and menu ... you need to ensure that there are no cross contamination from the worktop to equipments used ... read labels of packaged products ... unsured don't use ... it can be life threatening for someone with severe allergy and anaphylactic reaction.

Chicken Sherperd Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 carrot diced
  • 2 stick celery diced
  • 1 kg minced / diced meat
  • 300 ml broth / stock
  • *1 tbsp flour
  • *1 tbsp butter

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 50 g cheddar cheese
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 ml milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Procedure
  1. heat oil and saute onion, carrot, celery til slightly brown put aside
  2. preheat oven 200*C 
  3. heat 50 g butter, add meat, stir til brown add sauted vegetables
  4. add stock, thicken with *butter and *flour mixture
  5. spead out into a baking dish, set aside

  1. boil potatoes simmer for 10mins, drain, mashed, add grated cheese
  2. add milk for a smooth consistency, add salt and pepper to taste
  3. spread mashed potatoes over the meat and vegetables 
  4. brush with some butter
  5. baked for 30 mins

  • frozen mix vegetable of carrot, corn and peas may be use
