- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 carrot diced
- 2 stick celery diced
- 1 kg minced / diced meat
- 300 ml broth / stock
- *1 tbsp flour
- *1 tbsp butter
- 500 g potatoes
- 50 g cheddar cheese
- 150 g butter
- 100 ml milk
- salt
- pepper
Procedure
- heat oil and saute onion, carrot, celery til slightly brown put aside
- preheat oven 200*C
- heat 50 g butter, add meat, stir til brown add sauted vegetables
- add stock, thicken with *butter and *flour mixture
- spead out into a baking dish, set aside
- boil potatoes simmer for 10mins, drain, mashed, add grated cheese
- add milk for a smooth consistency, add salt and pepper to taste
- spread mashed potatoes over the meat and vegetables
- brush with some butter
- baked for 30 mins
- frozen mix vegetable of carrot, corn and peas may be use
