- Water
- wash and cut fresh mustard green ... add to stew pot ...
- wash trim stem off red chilli padi ... add to stew pot ...
- toast and mash dried belachan ... add to stew pot ...
- wash dry assam ... add to stew pot
- or boil water with asam in a pot ... till assam separate from seeds ...
- strain assam water into stew pot ...
- add more water to cover mustard green ... bring to a boil ...
- wash and cut pot belly ... add to stew pot ...
- add more water ... keep pork belly and mustard green in water ...
- bring to a boil ... lower fire and simmer for two hours ...
- or more ... done when mustard green is soft and pork belly cooked ...
- serve hot with cooked rice
